北京大学心理与认知科学学院、机器感知与智能教育部重点实验室教授,行为与心理健康北京市重点实验室副主任,心理与认知科学学院学位委员会主任,教育部特聘教授,博士生导师,美国心理科学学会(APS)会士。1997年于北京大学获得理学博士学位,1997年至1999年在中国科学院心理研究所从事博士后研究,1999年加入北京大学心理学系(现北京大学心理与认知科学学院),2005年入选教育部“新世纪优秀人才支持计划”。2014年获北京市高等学校教学名师荣誉称号,2020年荣获第八届高等学校科学研究优秀成果奖(人文社会科学)二等奖。目前主要利用行为学实验、事件相关电位和功能性磁共振成像技术,研究人类自我反思加工的认知特点、神经基础,及其影响因素。主持国家重点研发计划重点专项、国家社会科学基金重点项目、国家自然科学基金面上项目等多项课题,相关研究成果发表在 PNAS、SCAN、Human Brain Mapping、Cognition、NeuroImage、eLife、Journal of Happiness Studies、《心理学报》等国内外重要学术期刊上。

吴艳红教授兼任全国应用心理专业学位研究生教育指导委员会主任、教育部基础教育心理健康教育指导专委会副主任委员、中国心理学会常务理事、中国心理学会神经心理学专业委员会主任,首都女教授协会女科技工作者专委会副主任。担任《中国大百科全书·心理学卷》中普通心理学分卷主编,《心理学报》和《心理科学进展》编委,并担任多个国内外心理学核心期刊审稿人。担任国家精品资源共享课程、北京大学心理与认知科学学院本科生主干基础课程“实验心理学”主讲教师(1997年至今),北京大学心理与认知科学学院研究生必修课程“心理学研究方法”主讲教师(2008-2011),北京大学人力资源研究生班课程“心理学研究方法”主讲教师(1998-2011)。

1. 结合质性研究、行为实验以及脑成像技术,考察中国民族文化对自我的影响,主要关注维吾尔族、藏族、蒙古族等少数民族群体在各自特有的文化背景下自我的特点;

2. 采用行为学实验,结合事件相关电位和功能性磁共振成像技术,探讨人类自我反思加工的认知特点、神经基础,及文化、社会情境等因素对自我反思加工的影响;

3. 运用功能性磁共振成像、特定脑区损伤病人、事件相关电位等多种技术手段和记录方法,研究大脑是如何将自上而下信息和自下而上信息整合在一起的。
